ALDI Delacombe – Victoria
Our team in Victoria has completed the refrigeration installation for the new ALDI Delacombe store, located at 50 Cherry Flat Road, Smythes Creek, Victoria.
The new 1,100 sqm supermarket has now officially opened, bringing ALDI’s latest store format to the Delacombe area.
Baker Refrigeration supplied and installed the store’s refrigerated display cases, frozen-food display equipment, refrigeration plant, controls and associated safety systems.
Refrigerated Display
Around 40 metres of Bonnet Névé Avenue refrigerated display cases fitted with Pandur Doors have been installed throughout the fresh-food section.
Frozen-Food Display
The frozen-food section features AHT Athen and Bonnet Névé Sound Top display freezers.
Refrigeration Plant
At the centre of the installation is an EPTA ECOsmall refrigeration plant, providing the central refrigeration required throughout the store.
Heat rejection is handled by a LU-VE gas cooler, forming part of the integrated refrigeration system installed for the new supermarket.
Baker Refrigeration also completed the associated:
- Refrigeration controls
- Electrical switchboard
- CO₂ safety detection system
With a CO₂ detection system providing an additional level of monitoring and protection around the refrigeration installation.
Complete Refrigeration Installation
From the plant and controls through to the refrigerated displays on the shop floor, the Delacombe project was delivered as a coordinated refrigeration installation by Baker Refrigeration’s Victorian team.
