Catering Equipment Service Technician
Join Baker Refrigeration as a Catering Equipment Service Technician in Adelaide and build a long-term career servicing commercial kitchen and catering equipment.
We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Catering Equipment Service Technician to join our Adelaide Catering Service Team in Dry Creek on a permanent full-time basis.
About the role
As a Catering Equipment Service Technician, you will service, repair, install and maintain a wide range of commercial catering and kitchen equipment across customer sites.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and repairing commercial catering equipment
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
- Attending breakdowns and scheduled service calls
- Carrying out preventative maintenance
- Installing and commissioning new equipment
- Completing accurate job reports and service documentation
- Keeping customers informed throughout service work
- Managing your daily workload and prioritising urgent breakdowns
- Working alongside our experienced and supportive Service Team
What we are looking for
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Permanent rights to work in Australia
- SA Restricted Electrical Licence
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Experience in diagnostics and fault finding
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A strong work ethic and reliable approach
A Gas Licence or A-Class Electrical Licence is preferred.
Experience working with electrical equipment in commercial kitchens or within the hospitality industry will also be highly regarded.
