Fresh and Save Food Warehouse – Armidale (NSW)

Our Queensland team recently celebrated the successful completion of the refrigeration installation at the new Fresh & Save store in Armidale, New South Wales.

This large-format retail space is now equipped with a state-of-the-art Transcritical CO₂ refrigeration system, aligning with the store’s commitment to sustainable and energy-efficient solutions.

The installation includes a range of refrigeration units by Bonnet Névé, carefully selected by our team in collaboration with the store to meet the unique demands of this large-format retail environment. The equipment is powered by the Eco Large EC93 Refrigeration Rack by Epta.

Our sales, installation and drafting experts worked closely together with the team from Fresh and Save.

Key Equipment Installed

Skylight Modular Glass Door Freezer featuring full-height glass doors for a seamless look, soft-closing doors for added convenience and high-output LED lighting to improve product visibility.

Rock Open Cabinets are designed for meat, ready meals, produce, dairy, seafood, drinks, and bakery items. Durable and stylish, they feature stainless steel square bumpers for protection, mirrored end panels for better visibility, and sleek black finishes. Tailored options include energy-efficient features for fresh produce, EC fan motors and night blinds for dairy, and high-output LED lighting with stainless steel shelves for drinks.

Rock ECO Multideck Glass Door Dairy, Pet Food and Produce Cases The Rock Cabinets are medium-temperature vertical units with glass doors, designed for maximum energy savings. They feature solid mirrored end panels, a uniform black finish, and precise temperature control via a mechanical valve. With a slimline design and optimized shelving for pet food products, these cabinets include energy-efficient components to reduce consumption while maximizing display space. They offer flexibility with painted or stainless steel shelves and base options, shelf and well ticket holders for clear pricing, and compatibility with both CO₂ and HFC refrigerant options.

The Aurora Coffin Open Freezer features an open-top design for easy product access, optimized storage for high-volume frozen merchandise, and a robust construction for durability and the Aurora ECO Wide Island Freezer with Lids that combines energy efficiency to lower operational costs, a spacious layout for bulk frozen goods and user-friendly access to enhance the customer experience.

The Marble Perform Deli Case with 2 x 45° Corners maximizes product display space and is ideal for delicatessen products and pre-packed meats and is available in various heights and configurations.

Finally the Oblique Island Open Case is eye-catching for promotional displays, flexible configurations and enhanced visibility to attract customer attention.

Additional components include Kirby Guardian Evaporators and the reliable Carel Control System for efficient monitoring. The dairy cool room doors were supplied and installed by our friends at Gannons, with Flowsell fitting the cool room interiors—essential for high-turnover stock like dairy.
