Ice Machine Compliance Project Update
The compliance updating project is now approximately 80% complete, with the majority of machines now registered on GEMS and updated across our product documentation, website listings and dealer resources.
What this means
Ice machines that are now listed and approved for GEMS will have a GEMS number displayed on the compliance plate, all sales materials and the website; for example, GRN:AIM0055.
WaterMark certification has been completed on all applicable machines.
With updates to ice machine technology, our supplier is incorporating R290 refrigerant into the range. Both the new R290 machines and existing stock can still be sold.
Compliance Reminder
To comply with the GEMS legislation, wherever products are advertised, the GEMS Registration Number (GRN) must be displayed.
WaterMark information must also be included where applicable.
Please note: Baker Refrigeration and Manitowoc logos must remain visible on product sheets as they form part of the legal GEMS registration requirements.
