Sacca’s Fine Foods – A Fresh New Store by Baker Refrigeration

Our team in Victoria recently completed an installation at Sacca’s Fine Foods, in Epping Plaza Shopping Centre. Working closely together they chose refrigeration solutions that suited this new store.

As you enter, you’re greeted by a vibrant display of fresh produce. To the right, approximately 18.7 meters of the Bonnet Névé Melo deli remote case provides an impressive showcase. The serve-over counter is ideal for deli goods, while the self-serve option is perfect for a range of cheeses. The Melo’s design helps to minimise moisture loss and can extend product freshness.

Fresh fruit, berries, small goods, ready-to-go meals and sandwiches are displayed in the Melo SV case (high front). This case is known for its wide display area, LED lighting and energy-efficient fans, creating an attractive and functional refrigeration solution.

The store’s extensive range of fresh produce is housed in the Bonnet Névé Rock Produce open cases, which feature manual night blinds, mirrored ends and internal rear wall to enhance product visibility.

For meat and dairy, Sacca’s chose the Bonnet Névé Rock Eco Plus, a highly energy-efficient case enhanced with ultra-durable glass doors and a stainless-steel square bumper for added protection.

All frozen goods are displayed in the low energy consuming Bonnet Névé Skylight Modular which features best in class full-height energy efficient glass doors for a sleek, modern look.

Baker Refrigeration engineered a turnkey solution for Sacca’s utilising Transcritical CO₂ ETE + FTE System (Extreme Temperature Efficiency + Full Transcritical Efficiency). The system is located on a rooftop platform in a weatherproof, acoustically constructed enclosure.

The system includes a custom-built electrical switchboard manufactured by our team in South Australia and to ensure optimal performance and monitoring, the store’s refrigeration and alarm systems are integrated with the Carel Boss platform, allowing for remote monitoring and control.
