We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and suitably qualified Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic to join our Sydney Service team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified tradesperson who wants to build their career, expand their technical knowledge and gain experience across a diverse range of commercial refrigeration systems. Training in CO₂ refrigeration technology will be available to the successful candidate.
Your responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance
- Provide professional service and support to our customers
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of the Sydney Service team
- Participate in an after-hours on-call roster
- Work evenings or weekends when required
About you
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- Permanent working rights in Australia
- A Trade Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- A current full ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
- A Restricted Electrical Licence
- A valid White Card
- A current Australian driver’s licence
- Approximately two years or more of post-apprenticeship experience
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A willingness to learn and undertake training in CO₂ refrigeration technology
Previous commercial supermarket refrigeration experience will be highly regarded.
