WA Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Awards 2019
A record crowd of more than 350 attendees came together at the new The Westin Perth Hotel Grand Ballroom for the 2019 West Australian Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Awards, the annual event which highlights the best WA apprentices in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry.
As Platinum Sponsor of the event, our Managing Director Mike Baker was able to make a short speech highlighting our company’s history, and confirming our continuing commitment to employing apprentices. We also sponsor the Best Performing 2nd year apprentice, this year won by Megan Dixon. Mike has put out the challenge to our apprentices to aim high and be one of next year’s winners!
Adding a touch of history to proceedings, the new Westin Hotel is located at the corner of Hay & Irwin Streets in the city, which was the same address where AJ Baker & Sons opened its first premises for the business more than 80 years ago.
