ALDI Kalamunda (WA)
24 November 2017
The doors opened yesterday on our new Aldi supermarket in Kalamunda (WA). The stores feature a modern store design with redesigned shelving, expanded wooden produce bays, LED lighting and improved point-of-sale displays and store signage.
Also this store adopt our energy-efficient chest freezers and top freezers which utilise HC refrigerants and VSD compressor control. The main refrigeration plant operates with an Epta Pack utilising CO2 R744 (GWP=1) and R134a (for the medium temperature display cases). The Sub Critical Hybrid CO2 / R134a design delivers a reduction in the carbon footprint of the refrigeration plant. Other energy saving initiatives within the plant design are electronic expansion valves, variable speed drives on condenser fans and capacity control for compressors. The store manager can also supervise the case temperatures and plant operation via a centralised Danfoss supervisory control panel.
