Transcritical Installation at Ritchies IGA NSW
AJ Baker & Sons continues to lead the way with transcritical R744 installations Australia-wide and more recently in both New South Wales and Victoria by working closely with the Ritchies IGA group who are committed to reducing their stores’ refrigeration reliance on high Global Warming Potential (GWP) synthetic refrigerants, which in turn will help them to reduce their energy consumption.
The Ritchies IGA group has expanded their green commitment to their stores like their recently relocated liquor store in Kurri Kurri NSW, our team worked with Ritchies to install the SCM Refrigeration, Frigo Cubo Plus R744 Transcritical CO2 Condensing Unit.
The UMT 150 MTDX is a unit designed with a Bitzer Semi-Hermetic compressor on a VSD and Carel controller.
The unique design of this condensing unit makes it easy to install with the integrated electrical panel and controls that are factory tested and pre-programmed making the start-up process quick and easy.
These units make everyday refrigeration applications possible using Natural Refrigerants.
The condensing unit services four cool room chambers built by Coldmaster that are fitted with C-Rite inserts, doors, and a shelving system.
Matt Pope, Baker Refrigeration Project Manager / Engineer said “It has been a pleasure working with Garth Tetley on this project and we look forward to providing further refrigeration solutions to the Ritchies Group in the future.”
