Tucker Fresh IGA Kinross – WA
This month we completed an installation at Tucker Fresh IGA in Kinross located in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia.
The store underwent a complete refurbishment and is now a full transcritical CO2 supermarket meaning the store owners will be able to see a reduction in the running costs of the commercial refrigeration in the store and in turn reduce their environmental footprint.
As you enter the store, you will be greeted by an array of fresh produce in the Market Lane where we installed the Bonnet Névé Skyview Plus Open Volum, an open vertical display cabinet for the variety of vegetables, the pre-cut fruit selection is displayed in the Bonnet Névé Latitude a self-serve, plug-in display case with two tiers of additional glass display shelves.
In the deli area you will find the Ubert HIM Hot, an island-style octagonal hot food case with two levels of display area and access to all sides. The self-serve deli area has the Bonnet Névé Shape and the ready-to-go meals are displayed in the Bonnet Névé Skyview Plus Volum with energy-efficient doors that reduce the heat transfer rate into the case.
The Tecfrigo Isola VT Inox, a convenient plug-in salad bar, has also been added to the deli area with a delicious range of ready-made healthy salads.
The selection of cheeses and deli products are displayed in the Criocabin Erin, a chilled island plug-in display with two levels of display area plus a deep base level.
At the rear of the store you will see the Bonnet Névé Skylight Modular, a 5 door freezer for the seafood and alongside this is the Bonnet Névé Skyview Plus Volum for the meat and the Skyview Plus Open Volum for the dairy.
The frozen meals and desserts are in two rows of the Bonnet Névé Skylight Modular with one aisle end also housing dairy products in the Bonnet Névé Skyview Plus Open Volum.
Opposite the frozen area is the Bonnet Névé Skyview Plus Volum keeping the remainder of the dairy products chilled.
The store also opted for the Bonnet Névé Cosmos Eco Island Freezer which has a large display area and easy, push-back sliding lids.
The chilled pet food is displayed in two of the Bonnet Névé Offlip 3 Green.
At the front of the store the aisles are finished off with the Bonnet Névé Skyview Plus Open drinks case and near the checkout area you will find the Bonnet Névé Skylook and Skylook Modular with additional drinks on display.
In the back of house, we installed a large range of cool rooms for the produce, freezer products, meat and dairy, as well as the meat and produce preparation areas.
The Refrigeration Plant is supplied by Epta with the Eco2Large compressor pack operating on natural refrigerant. The refrigeration control and alarm are run on the Carel “Boss” system integrated into the store’s network for remote access and monitoring.
The community supermarket joins the popular Tucker family and can be found at Kinross Central Shopping Centre Cnr Selkirk Ave & Connolly Dr, Kinross WA 6028.
