WA Apprentice of The Year – Mark Law
A few of the team from the Perth Branch attended the WA 2022 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Awards last night held at the Ascot Racecourse in Perth.
The annual awards were hosted by the Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH) President, Paul Jackson, who presented the awards and MC’d the event. Additional hosts of the event were; the Government of Western Australia, South Metropolitan TAFE, the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association of Western Australia (RACiA|WA).
The event is held to celebrate the success and excellence of Apprentices in the Western Australian Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry.
We are very proud to share that Mark Law won WA Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Apprentice of the Year.
Mark is in his final year of his apprenticeship after commencing at AJ Baker & Sons in 2019 following a career change from the hospitality industry, he will complete his apprenticeship in July 2023.
He has spent much of his time in both our Refrigeration Installation Department and Air Conditioning Department growing his skills and knowledge.
Mark jokingly said to his team mates he will win the award in his final year, we are very happy to see him achieve this.
It was lovely to see his team mates and managers support this great achievement at the cocktail function, well done Mark, from the whole team at AJ Baker & Sons.
